Welcome to the web site of the “Central Shires Centre” the active centre in the East Midlands.

The Central Shires branch of the Suzuki Owners club was formed back on the 7th April 2005. The centre draws its members from the counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. Although members of other centres are made vey welcome on any of our ride outs or centre events.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month with the meeting starting at 8.00 pm, the meeting is held in a private room at the pub.

The Shires centre has been very active with regard to the Attendance trophy since its formation; this is due to the enthusiasm of the centre members and committee arranging events throughout the year.

The centre has had several trips into Europe including to date a trip to France and three times to Wissen in Germany. Not only have there been organised tours in the past several members also go to Europe in smaller groups.

The Red Lion on High street is only 200 metres up the High street from the main A6. This being only ½ a mile from junction 24 of the M1.
